Every year the students start preparing for the Marathon event by running in the beginning of gym class.

You can see how hard it is for some in their face, especially as they run up the slope next to the Bell play area. But after practicing for several weeks, the struggle in the students’ eyes lessens and the heavy breathing eases. That’s when the fun begins.

With anything that we do, the beginning is the hardest part but ironically the most important. We can never make progress if we don’t start.
