Digital skills are increasingly important in this era. While there is a need to continue using paper and pencils in class, digital skills are another aspect of skills that are increasingly important. Typing skills are crucial in the younger years of school because they boost digital literacy, enhance efficiency in completing tasks, and improve overall academic performance, especially in subjects like writing. Interestingly, research also shows that early typing practice also helps develop better organizational skills and fosters confidence in completing computer-based assignments. 

In 3^rd grade, during Hibari time the students are practicing their typing skills. The students are enjoying listening for the English letter names as well as improving their skills. In English class, we are also giving the students real time experience as they are writing their speeches on their tablet before finalizing their scripts on paper.

We are happy to see the students improve their skills over the coming year.
