Preparing for greatness(4年生)
The recent buzz around school has been the class performances that are just around the corner. We will be having our yearly school recital later this month where each class will do a performance on stage. With the excitement in the air, our 4th grade students have been doing their best to remember their lines and cues to be able to put on their best performances possible.
Practices are being held in their classrooms and, when available, the assembly hall on stage as well. Of course, the practices in the classroom help the students to get used to their lines and the movements that they are incorporating into their performance, but the practices held on stage are where the students really get to imagine how the performance will come together. Although there is usually no one in the audience, the excitement of just being on stage is something that can’t be replicated in the classroom and it helps them to strive to put on a better performance.
As they continue their practices each day, it is evident that their hard work is paying off and will in turn make each of the shows smoother and more entertaining. We’re looking forward to seeing each of the recitals and watching as they light up the stage with each of their performances.
