The sun beamed down on this year’s sports day. It was the first time to watch the students and their pair grade perform a dance together. It was a great opportunity to see the ability and changes that are made in each grade.

The students have been practicing their grade dance each day in their classes as well as during gym class. Even with a few days of rain, it didn’t stop the students from practicing and making progress each day. As the students improved each day, their enthusiasm and desire to improved also increased.

On Sports day, the teachers could see the students giving their best performance underneath the hot sun. The support from the students’ families made all the difference.

Without the support of all the Hibarigaoka Gakuen Elementary school families, Sports day would not have been a success.
